Maybe too little, too late - but hey I'm new, sorta.

Best case scenario -> a discussion will follow and maybe someone will find a new album to enjoy. Worse case scenario -> someone loses a limb (ambidextrous lose 1 limb plus appendage).

Here's me doing my part:

Towns Van Zandt - 'In Pain' - Poetry from the Texas Troubadour. 'To Live Is To Fly' is a truly beautiful song.

Fela Kuti - 'Coffin for the Head of State' - The album Fela released after the Nigerian govt ransacked his house, killing his mother. Powerful Afrobeat.

The Avett Brothers - 'Live Vol II' - bluegrass/punk/soul. 'November Blue' sums up a specific time in my life as do most of the Avetts' songs.

Akron/Family - 'Love is Simple' - native chants, harmonized screams, my signature, etc.

Andrew Bird - 'The Mysterious Production of Eggs' - if you're a fan of words then you might enjoy AB. I love the way he says 'Proclivities'.

What says you?
radio programming is just that

his best record yet...

driving soul inflected free jazz from masters
